Project Planner – Inside/Outside IR35
Contract Duration: 3 – 12 months
Contract Authority: Public Sector Resourcing
Location: Remote, Hybrid & UK Wide

Job Purpose
The Project Planner is responsible for developing, maintaining, and monitoring project schedules to ensure timely and efficient delivery. The role supports project teams by providing accurate planning, forecasting, and progress reporting.
As a Project Planner your main responsibilities would be to:
- Develop detailed project schedules using tools such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar
- Define project scope, milestones, deliverables, and critical path
- Create baseline schedules and manage revisions
- Track project progress against plan
- Identify risks, delays, and variances
- Perform critical path analysis and scenario planning
- Recommend corrective actions
- Work closely with Project Managers, engineers, and contractors
- Facilitate planning workshops and schedule reviews
- Ensure alignment across multidisciplinary teams
You’ll have:
- Proven experience in project planning/scheduling
- Experience using planning software (e.g. Primavera P6, MS Project)
- Experience working within project environments
- Understanding of project lifecycle and controls
Desirable Skills & Attributes:
- Experience in NEC or other UK contract frameworks
- Knowledge of BIM and digital construction tools
- Advanced Excel / Power BI skills
- Experience in large-scale infrastructure projects
