- Drive process improvements and embed new ways of working across the organisation.
- Manage HR systems, ensuring data integrity, confidentiality and accurate employee records.
- Produce HR reporting and management information to support business decision-making.
- Analyse people data to identify trends, risks and opportunities for improvement.
- Lead or support People projects including onboarding improvements, organisational change, employee engagement and policy development.
- Provide first-line employee relations support and coach managers on HR policies and best practice.
- Support talent management, workforce planning and organisational development initiatives.
- Manage HR documentation including contracts, letters, reports and policy updates.
- Ensure compliance with UK employment legislation, GDPR and organisational governance.
- Support People team planning, administration, purchase orders and budget tracking where required.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR service delivery and employee experience.
Essential:
- Experience working in a similar role.
- Strong experience supporting managers across a broad range of HR and employee relations matters.
- Proven experience designing, implementing and embedding HR processes and operational improvements.
- Excellent understanding of the full employee lifecycle and HR best practice.
- Experience working within fast-paced, evolving or changing organisations.
- Strong employee relations knowledge and experience providing pragmatic HR advice.
- Experience using HR systems (HRIS), reporting tools and workflow management systems.
- Ability to analyse HR data and produce meaningful management information and insights.
- Excellent stakeholder management, influencing and communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy, compliance and governance.
- Comfortable working autonomously and finding solutions in ambiguous environments.
- Good understanding of UK employment legislation and HR compliance requirements.
Desirable:
- CIPD Level 3 or Level 5 (or equivalent HR experience).
- Experience delivering HR transformation or continuous improvement initiatives.
- Experience implementing or enhancing HR systems.
- Previous experience within the public sector, government or another regulated environment.
- Experience supporting organisational growth or building scalable HR operations.
- Experience producing HR dashboards, analytics and management reporting.
- Exposure to organisational design, workforce planning or talent management.
- Experience working within programme or project delivery environments.
