On behalf of DHSC , we are looking for a Risk and Highlight Report Lead Inside IR35 for a contract ending 31st of March 2027 based Hybrid in either London or Leeds
This is a high-profile opportunity to contribute to one of the government’s most significant reform programmes.
These roles sit at the heart of delivery within the DHSC–NHSE Joint Transformation Programme, providing analytical, coordination and management capability across organisational design and PMO and Finance activity
As a Risk and Highlight Report Lead , your main responsibilities will be to:
- Work closely with Programme colleagues to translate strategic direction into deliverable plans, effective governance and high-quality reporting in a fast paced and high scrutiny environment
- The role sit across the PMO and Finance functions, ensuring delivery is coordinated, governed effectively and supported by high quality reporting.
- Maintain programme plans, logs and reporting products and produce clear updates for senior stakeholders. Work with colleagues to surface and manage risks, dependencies and delivery issues early
Essential:
- Extensive experience in risk management and reporting, including the ability to analyse, monitor, and communicate risks effectively across programmes.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships and influence across a range of senior stakeholders.
- Proven ability to go beyond maintaining existing risk registers, demonstrating a proactive approach to improving and evolving risk management practices.
- Experience in identifying, establishing, and embedding robust risk management frameworks and tools, ensuring they are credible, auditable, and fit for organisational use.
- Demonstrable experience working with organisational-level (enterprise) risk, ideally within large public sector environments (e.g. NHS England, DHSC), rather than solely project-level risk registers.
