On behalf of The Ministry of Justice, we are looking for a Regulatory Submissions Coordinator (Inside IR35) for a 6 month contract based hybrid in London. This role requires an Active SC Clearance.
The Ministry of Justice (MoJ) priorities include improving public safety and reducing reoffending by reforming prisons, probation and youth justice, and building a justice system which makes access to justice swifter and more certain for all citizens whatever their background. Project professionals in the MoJ help to improve the government’s ability to protect the public and reduce reoffending, and to provide a more effective, transparent and responsive criminal justice system for victims and the public.
Role Overview:
LAA Digital (part of Justice Digital, Data and Science) is seeking a Regulatory Submissions Coordinator to support the delivery of high-quality, accurate responses to regulatory enquiries.
You will play a key role in coordinating responses across digital, legal and senior stakeholders, ensuring submissions are robust, evidence-backed, and delivered within deadlines.
As a Regulatory Submissions Coordinator, your main responsibilities will be:
- Coordinating end-to-end delivery of responses to regulatory enquiries across Justice Digital, Data and Science
- Tracking deadlines, dependencies, and progress across multiple concurrent requests
- Gathering and consolidating evidence from SMEs across security, platform, product, and business teams
- Translating regulatory questions into clear internal actions and requirements
- Producing structured, accurate, and coherent draft responses
- Challenging inconsistencies, gaps, and unclear inputs to ensure quality outputs
- Acting as the central point of contact between digital teams, legal, and senior stakeholders
- Proactively managing stakeholder engagement to ensure timely contributions
- Ensuring all responses meet standards for accuracy, tone, completeness, and governance
- Managing version control, audit trails, and documentation integrity
- Supporting formal review and sign-off processes with senior stakeholders
- Maintaining templates, playbooks, and response frameworks
- Capturing lessons learned and support continuous improvement of regulatory processes
Essential:
- Strong written communication skills with the ability to simplify complex information
- Excellent organisational and project coordination skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and competing priorities
- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Experience handling sensitive or confidential information
- Ability to work in a structured, process-driven environment
Desirable:
- Experience working on regulatory responses, audits, or investigations
- Exposure to legal, compliance, or governance teams
- Background in policy, risk, compliance, or public sector governance
- Previous experience in government / public sector environments
