On behalf of the MOD, we are looking for a Engagement and Change Manager Inside IR35 for a 12 months contract based Hybrid 1-2 days a week in Bristol

As a Engagement and Change Manager , your main responsibilities will:
- Play a critical role in enabling the successful delivery of the Defence Supply Chain Capability Programme (DSCCP) by supporting change management, communications and engagement activity across the Supply Chain Directorate (SCD). The role will ensure that complex, multi strand change is clearly articulated, understood and embedded across Defence and with key external stakeholders.
- Be responsible for developing and delivering an integrated change, communications both internal and exeternal and engagement approach across the full DSCCP and BAU portfolio, working closely with programme leadership, delivery teams and directorate leads. This will include translating strategic intent into clear, compelling narratives; coordinating messaging across multiple change initiatives; and ensuring consistent, timely and high impact communications aligned to programme milestones and decision points.
- Require strong engagement with senior leaders, programme boards and stakeholders across Defence, enabling informed decision making and building confidence in the programme’s direction and delivery. The Business Change Manager will act as a central coordinating point for change activity, supporting effective governance, managing dependencies, and ensuring alignment across workstreams.
- Focus be on building change capability across the organisation supporting leaders and teams to adopt new ways of working, embed new capabilities and sustain long term behavioural change. The role demands a delivery focused mindset, operating confidently in ambiguity, proactively managing risks and issues, and maintaining momentum across a high profile, complex transformation programme.
Essential:
- Exceptional stakeholder management, confidently engaging a wide range of internal and external stakeholders across diverse teams and organisational levels in large complex programmes
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly, persuasively and with impact.
- Proven experience operating within large, complex programmes, including strategic communications, narrative development and aligning messaging across multiple workstreams.
- Behaviour change expertise, capable of driving adoption, influencing mindsets and supporting sustained behavioural shifts across teams and organisations.
