On behalf of UKRI, we are looking for a Project Manager (Inside IR35) for a contract which is 3 months possible extension and is a hybrid role so does require occasional travel to the Swindon office
UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) is the national funding agency investing in science and research in the UK.
Living on the Web (LotW) is an initial project of 6 x Workstreams to improve and mature the overall BAU Technology Services offering with Digital Data & Technology Services (DDAT), the technology function of UKRI.
The LotW Project Manager will work with the DD Technology Services function, Head of Information & Collaboration Services and Programme Delivery Manager, to plan, implement and deliver LoTW across UKRI Group, owning the plan, assembling the team and managing the day-to-day resources.
Role scope will include defining and implementing business change, communications & training requirements and in some cases delivering these. If specialist resources are needed, the PM will make the cease for these.
As a Project Manager, your main responsibilities will be:
- Develop LotW implementation & delivery out plan across a busy team
- Budget & Resource planning & tracking.
- RAID Management across the full project
- Business Change mapping & Impact Assessment.
- Communications & Stakeholder Management at all levels across both internal and external teams
- Supplier Management which will include both internal and external contacts.
Essential Skills
- Extensive experience across people change project management delivery
- Experience of managing a wide selection of stakeholders at all levels
- Experience in the management of ambiguity within projects across government
- Strong communication skills
- Experience in the management and working with suppliers
- Tupe experience and process delivery
