AMS PSR

On behalf of the Cabinet Office, we are looking for a Marketing Platform and Data Specialist (Inside IR35) for a 3 month remote contract.

SC Clearance is an essential requirement for this role, as a minimum you must be willing & eligible to undergo checks. Please note, due to the exceptional requirements of this position (short-term nature of this role and speed at which we require a postholder in situ) preference may be given to candidates who meet all of the essential criteria and hold active security clearance. 

As a Marketing Platform and Data Specialist, your main responsibilities will be:

• Implement GCS-compliant data governance across all marketing platforms.
• Establish consistent taxonomy and data standards for campaigns.
• Design and manage user access and permissions across marketing and analytics platforms.
• Lead technical integration sessions with agencies and ad tech providers.
• Transfer benchmarking data and embed robust POEM measurement frameworks.
• Define standardised MOS workflows for campaign planning, approvals and reporting.
• Integrate MOS with government data sources, AI and reporting platforms.
• Ensure historic campaign data and reporting are retained and accessible.
• Collaborate across teams on the design and adoption of new marketing technologies.
• Produce and maintain transition documentation and reporting.

Essential:

• Strong hands-on experience across marketing technology ecosystems, including ad servers, Marketing Operating Systems (MOS) and end-to-end campaign tooling.
• Proven expertise in digital analytics and measurement, including tagging, CRMs and performance reporting platforms.
• Solid understanding of Paid, Owned and Earned Media (POEM) measurement, with the ability to define and implement robust cross-channel metrics
• Expertise in unifying data and using historical insight to drive smarter, more effective communications.

Desirable:

• Ability to challenge legacy metrics and reporting approaches to unlock better insight.
• Strong understanding of data privacy and ethical use of marketing data.
• Clear, logical decision‑maker who performs well under pressure and to deadlines.
• Confident presenting complex information to senior stakeholders.
