AMS PSR

On behalf of NCA, we are looking for a Business Analyst x2 (Inside IR35) for a 6 month contract which is a hybrid role so requires up to 2 days a week in either the London office or another NCA Location

The role of the Business Analyst is to understand and analyse user and business needs.

They ensure outcomes align with the service vision and business strategy by bridging current and future business models and delivering to the business architecture.

They constructively challenge and act as critical friends to achieve fit-for-purpose solutions.

They facilitate collaboration and lead effective communication with all stakeholders to support design, build, and delivery to meet user needs

SC Clearance is an essential requirement for this role, as a minimum you must be willing & eligible to undergo checks. Please note, due to the exceptional requirements of this position (short-term nature of this role and speed at which we require a postholder in situ) preference may be given to candidates who meet all of the essential criteria and hold active security clearance.

As a Business Analyst, your main responsibilities will be:

• Uses a variety of tools and techniques to gather business and user requirements based on the project's clear objectives. Assesses the need and value of these activities according to the context.
• Uses a range of tools and techniques to map 'As-Is' and 'To-Be' business processes.
• Evaluates requirements by comparing the present state with the target state to identify opportunities for successful interventions needed for the transition.
• Ensures stakeholders are identified within the project and their requirements are included in the benefits analysis.
• Assists in facilitating the identification of needs.
• Ensures project activities are effectively mapped and collaborates with systems analysts and technical leads to translate business needs into technical solutions.

Essential Skills

• Extensive experience as a business analyst across complex projects within government
• Data sources, data flow and user cases experience
• Experience across both Digital and business requirements
• Stakeholder Engagement at all levels across the business
• Strong self starter with a proactive approach to all duties
