Description & Requirements

On behalf of BEIS - UKSBS, we are looking for x3 Digital Business Analysts (Inside IR35) for a 6 month contract. This is a hybrid working role (travel required four days per month - Swindon/Stockton-on-Tees or Newport). 


As a Digital Business Analyst, your main responsibilities will be TO:


  • Gather, analyse, and document business requirements to support project goals and organizational strategy.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, SMEs, and cross-functional teams to identify needs and translate them into actionable solutions.
  • Develop process maps, workflows, and business models to improve efficiency and optimize operations.
  • Perform data analysis, generate reports, and provide insights to drive informed decision-making.
  • Support project delivery through requirement validation, user acceptance testing (UAT), and change management activities.


Essential:


  • People and system change experience
  • Understanding of needs to ensure operational staff are ready for day-1
  • Confident and assertive in client facing situations
  • Ability to communicate project technical information (provided by the Business Analyst) to the client in plain English
  • Ability to drop in to a project mid-flight and hit the ground running
  • Onboarding experience
  • Understanding of working in a shared service
  • Agile experience / blended Waterfall / Agile experience
  • Jira experience
