Description & Requirements

On behalf of Great British Railways Transition Team (GBRTT), we are looking for a Commercial Marketing and Brand Coordinator (Inside IR35) for a contract up to March 2026 (with possible extension) based 2-3 days in Waterloo.

Great British Railways Transition Team (GBRTT) are on an exciting journey to create a simpler, better railway for everyone in Britain. Our people and culture are at the heart of this – we’re bringing together a wide/diverse range of people from across the rail sector and from other industries to help shape the future of Britain’s railway.

Joining the GBRTT truly is a once-in-a-generation opportunity to be a part of something purposeful and revolutionary, where you can develop your skills and experience.

We believe people should be their authentic selves at work and be able to thrive, bringing unique experiences, fresh perspectives, and creative thinking to challenge conventional ways of doing things. If you’re up for an exciting challenge and like the sound of what we’re looking for then we’d love to hear from you!

What we're looking for:

We’re looking for people who are prepared to roll their sleeves up and take ownership, making it their place to make informed decisions and get things done.  We need to work together as an industry to design solutions that make things better for our customers, so we’re looking for people who can build great relationships and integrate with colleagues across the sector.  We have a unique chance to change things for the better, and so embracing opportunity, using innovative and creative thinking – with a dose of healthy challenge – is critical to us. We’re driven by a passion to deliver for our customers and our colleagues, so people who show they care deeply about their work and for their colleagues are the kind we love and are looking for!

  • Support marketing and brand development initiatives, contributing creative input and strategic recommendations.
  • Work alongside procurement colleagues to manage procurement activities, ensuring compliance with commercial processes and standards.
  • Maintain high-quality documentation, presentations and project materials.

Essential:

  • Demonstrable experience working in commercial environments.
  • Proven track record delivering marketing and/or brand development projects.
  • Strong experience managing complex stakeholders across multiple functions.
