AMS PSR

On behalf of GLD, we are looking for a Paralegal (Inside IR35) for a 6 month hybrid contract in Bristol.

As a Paralegal , your main responsibilities will be:

• Support and Coordination: Assist the Deputy Director and legal team with planning, implementing projects, and managing deadlines.
• Legal Research and Drafting: Conduct research, prepare notes or first drafts of advice, and review/proofread legal documents.
• Knowledge and Information Management: Maintain case management systems, organize files, and manage Knowledge Management (KM) resources for the division.
• Client and Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a point of contact, help build client relationships, and support delivery of client training and presentations.
• Administrative and Team Support: Schedule meetings, take minutes, manage calendars, and contribute to team meetings and overall success.

Essential:

• Legal Research & Analysis: Ability to conduct thorough research and draft accurate notes or initial advice.
• Communication & Relationship Management: Strong interpersonal skills for liaising with clients, colleagues, and external lawyers.
• Organizational & Time Management: Skilled in managing deadlines, scheduling, and maintaining structured filing systems.
• Knowledge Management & Information Handling: Competence in organizing, storing, and disseminating legal know-how and updates.
• Attention to Detail & Document Review: Accuracy in proofreading, summarizing documents, and ensuring quality in legal outputs.
• SC Clearance is an essential requirement for this role, as a minimum you must be willing & eligible to undergo checks. Please note, due to the exceptional requirements of this position (short-term nature of this role and speed at which we require a postholder in situ) preference may be given to candidates who meet all of the essential criteria and hold active security clearance.
