On behalf of UKRI we are looking for a Salesforce Administrator (Inside IR35) for a 4 month contract. Hybrid working with travel to Swindon as and when required.

The Salesforce Administrator will play a key role in implementing and managing UKRI’s CRM to a user base of circa 1000 internal users. This is an exciting opportunity for the role holder to be an early member of an in-house Salesforce team as the organisation adopts the platform with the challenges that go with user adoption and bedding in a new service.
As a Salesforce Administrator, the role holder will help the business adopt the platform, and work closely with the product owner to help mentor users in how to get the best user experience from it. The role holder will become the internal Subject Matter Expert for Salesforce users across UKRI. The role holder will also be involved in managing support requests and escalated administrative needs of users by providing prompt and complete resolution to technical challenges and business support issues. will be an active team member in the growing Salesforce team within Innovate UK.
The role holder will be accountable for ensuring that all users receive a positive user experience from using the service, working closely with the CRM product owner and the project team until the service transitions to business as usual. The role holder will actively participate discovery and design workshops to identify client requirements and design user journeys in Salesforce to meet those needs.
Essential:
- Proven experience of Salesforce administration and configuration on both SalesCloud and ServiceCloud.
- Experience configuring Salesforce including Workflows, validation rules, Lightning Flow, Process builder, roles, public groups, profiles, reports, dashboards and Change sets.
- You can configure functionality in Salesforce to deliver effective business solutions
- You can understand data governance and how it works in relation to other organisational governance structures.
- You can respond to problems in databases, data processes, data products and services as they occur.
- You can communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. You can support and host discussions within a multidisciplinary team, with potentially difficult dynamics.
