At Public Sector Resourcing we are looking to build our talent pools for up and coming opportunities. We are looking for a Head of Strategy for a 12 Month contract based Hybrid – Remote & 40% in Aberdeen.

As Head of Strategy, your main responsibilities will be: 

• Lead the development of strategic planning timeline, resourcing, and scope.
• Collaborate with 3rd party advisors/consultancy team to project manage strategy development.
• Ensure strategy includes Development & Investment activities, Supply Chain, and operations.
• Identify key decision gates and convene necessary internal stakeholders, including pre-briefings.
• Develop a consultation strategy with industry and other stakeholders for inclusivity.
• Create and implement a monitoring and reporting framework for strategy execution and ongoing monitoring.

You’ll have:

• Strategic mindset with knowledge of frameworks for decision making and presenting complex information.
• Proven track record in strategic thinking, problem-solving, and influencing at high levels.
• Effective contributor to Executive Leadership Team, providing leadership, direction, and strategic focus.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, engaging across government, co-investors, and commercial leadership.
• Strong analytical skills for informed decision-making and driving operational performance.
• Passionate about delivering economic growth, UK jobs, and societal impact.
