Description & Requirements

On behalf of Advisory, Conciliation and Arbitration Service (ACAS), we are looking for a Content Creator (Inside IR35) for a 10 month contract based remotely.


As a Content Creator, your main responsibilities will be to:

  • Create and deliver engaging content for internal and external communication channels across digital, social media, print and broadcast.
  • Develop content for campaigns across CAC's digital and social media channels.
  • Capture, edit and produce visual, photographic and video content to maximise audience engagement.
  • Work closely with the Operations Manager to develop accessible and audience-focused communications.
  • Support the planning and delivery of social media campaigns and wider communications activity.
  • Generate new ideas for content and communications activity in support of CAC business objectives.
  • Research emerging trends, technologies, platforms and approaches to content production and social media.
  • Support the management of tools and processes required to maintain effective social media channels.
  • Use platforms such as SharePoint and Canva to create, manage and publish content.
  • Research and map CAC's priority audiences to inform communications and content activity.
  • Monitor and track the impact and effectiveness of communications activity.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including senior leaders.
  • Collaborate with CAC, Acas and wider communications teams on projects and campaigns.
  • Provide administrative support where required to maintain business continuity.


Essential:

  • Experience or awareness of using Canva, Photoshop or equivalent image/photo editing tools.
  • Awareness of video editing tools, such as Adobe Creative Suite, Premiere Pro or equivalent.
  • Strong interest in and understanding of social media and digital communications.
  • Interest in technology, apps, filming and photography and their application to communications.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work constructively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and SharePoint.
  • Highly organised, self-motivated and able to prioritise competing workloads.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work.


Desirable:

  • An interest in developing a career in content production, communications or digital media.
  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to produce professional, engaging and accurate content.
  • Ability to work independently, use initiative and be proactive with minimal supervision.
  • Experience creating content for different audiences and communication channels.
  • Understanding of social media trends, audience engagement and digital content performance.
  • Experience using creative or digital content production tools beyond the essential requirements.
