Description & Requirements

On behalf of Network Rail, we are looking for a PA - Team Organiser - (PAYE) for a 6-months contract working on a hybrid basis and with an expectation of 3 days per week in the York office

JOB PURPOSE

To support a senior executive or a complex team and provide an efficient and effective general administrative and secretarial support service.  Provide technical input interface with maintaining relevant records.


As a PA - Team Organiser - (PAYE)  your main responsibilities will be:

  • Perform general office administration, manage mail, diaries, personnel records, travel arrangements, and PPE.
  • Provide secretarial support to the Strategic Commercial Director, ensuring confidentiality.
  • Organize meetings, produce and distribute documentation, take minutes, and follow up on actions.
  • Maintain a consistent telephone presence and excellent customer service; communicate with the team as needed.
  • Keep an efficient filing system, focusing on records of meetings, statutory records, and authorizations.
  • Use financial and procurement systems, order office supplies, report team issues, and conduct technical literature searches.


Essential: 

  • Project Management & Administrative Skills: Experience as a Project Management Assistant, experience of providing secretarial duties, diary management, and handling expenses.
  • Communication & Organisational Skills: Strong communication skills and excellent organisational ability
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office and Oracle


Desirable:

  • Experience of using Power Bi
