You will be responsible for getting the best out of our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) configuration team, the CRM platform, and other chosen software applications, ensuring resources are prioritised where they deliver the greatest value.

As a Senior Dynamics Functional Consultant, you will be working closely with projects, business teams, analysts, and user experience specialists. Your team will deliver and maintain solutions that meet business needs with efficient and effective processes and ways of working. You will be a key part of the digital transformation of HSE.

Part time working hours are available for this role. We can accept part time applicants who can commit to working a minimum of 30 hours per week.

Job description

We are seeking a skilled Dynamics 365 Functional Consultant to join our team. As a Senior Dynamics Functional Consultant, you will:

  • Play a pivotal role in the successful implementation and customisation of Dynamics 365 solutions for use by our internal and external users. 
  • Work with a wide range of multi skilled digital, data and technology (DDaT) roles and project stakeholders all of whom share a vision for a user centric approach and making government services better through smarter use of technology.
  • Drive and deliver development and implementation of Microsoft’s Dynamics 365/Power Platform solutions which form part of HSE’s back office and business facing solutions. This will enable the development of integrated solutions that meet current and future business needs focused on Regulatory Systems. This is a great opportunity for a Senior Functional Consultant looking to develop their Dynamics skillset. 
  • Deliver and support high quality solutions in line with project goals and delivery cycles. You will thrive and enjoy working openly, collaboratively and as part of a multidisciplinary team focused on one or more projects.
  • Supporting existing systems, designing, and delivering new features as HSE develop its services, adhering to standards and using Agile principles ensuring timely production of goals and approvals through constructive collaboration with all relevant parties contributing to innovation of all products. 

Travel

As part of the role you may occasionally be required to attend any of the HSE office locations as advertised. This may occasionally necessitate overnight stays with travel and subsistence provided.

Person specification

Essential skills and criteria 

  • Knowledge/experience of the following - jQuery, JavaScript.
  • Experience of using Azure Dev Ops as a resource and requirements tracking tool while also having experience of CI/CD implementation using the tool.
  • Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), and data management methodologies plus IT processes (Agile, Waterfall).
  • Knowledge in identifying product choices in support of projects authorised through IT governance and good comprehension of regulations governing IT, e.g., Data Protection, GDPR, Accessibility.
  • Ability to assist with delivering end-to-end software lifecycle improvements, using agile delivery methods and multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Experience implementing and developing Dynamics CRM alongside front-end applications.
  • Experience developing and implementing Power Pages.

There will be a requirement to travel to the office for various activities, e.g., collaborative working, supporting and training colleagues. If hybrid working is suitable for you and your role, you will be expected to attend the office, or other business-related site, for 60% of your working week. The arrangements will be determined primarily by business need, but personal circumstances and other relevant circumstances will also be taken into account.
