Description & Requirements

On behalf of Network Rail, we are looking for an Occupational Health Service Delivery Manager (Inside IR35) for a 6 month contract. This is a remote working role (centre visits once every 6 weeks - UK Wide).

As a Occupational Health Service Delivery Manager, your main responsibilities will be:


  • Day to day management of medical co-ordinators in regional locations, so that the service is maintained and delivered as per business requirements to deliver an efficient service.
  • Monitor, review and report on clinic operational performance, taking appropriate action as required if performance levels are not met as per agreed KPIs and SLAs.
  • Regularly review with key stakeholders the operational delivery of service and identify areas for improvement.
  • Liaise with key stakeholders such as HR (including onboarding team), facilities management, property, regional H&S colleagues as required for the safe and effective operations at each clinic location.
  • Effectively manage the handling of positive and negative customer feedback at the regional location and identifying improvement areas for service delivery.
  • Responsible for the review and update of operational risk assessments at regional locations, escalating any issues accordingly, for example, first aid, fire safety and gas safety.


Essential: 


  • Excellent customer service and service delivery skills ideally within an Occupational Health environment
  • Excellent line management experience
  • Good knowledge of diary management principles and systems
  • Ability to make administrative/procedural decisions and judgements



Desirable:


  • Understanding of occupational health services
  • Knowledge of the UK rail industry
