Description & Requirements


On behalf of Network Rail, we are looking an Administrator - Inside IR35 for a 6 Month contract (with possible extension) based Remotely.


Job Purpose:

Represent the Occupational Health service in the regional location with a professional and friendly manner as the first point of contact. Provide an outstanding level of administrative support and customer service to the regional location, so that clinic diaries are managed effectively and utilised to meet the national OH service objectives.


As an Administrator, your main responsibilities will be:

  • Diary management for the effective & efficient delivery of occupational health services at regional locations, to support compliance with the relevant operational processes.
  • Monitoring the appointment and recall list for the various clinical services, and scheduling appointments as required.
  • Supporting record keeping in the clinic, including scanning of documents into the IT platform and monitoring and obtaining Further Medical Evidence (FME) responses.
  • Liaising with lead medical coordinators on resolving queries, issues, and complaints so that they are addressed promptly and satisfactorily.
  • Completion of additional administrative duties as required by service delivery manager or clinical colleagues to meet service requirements.
  • Maintain confidentiality in line with occupational health governance framework to meet data protection requirements.


You'll have:

  • Excellent knowledge of diary management principles & systems.
  • Good communication skills - written & verbal.
  • Ability to prioritise workloads & deliver to deadlines.
  • Experience of working in a team & engaging with virtual team members.
  • Good general IT skills.
  • Rail industry experience - desirable.
