We’re looking for a dynamic Senior Delivery Manager to lead the successful rollout of Microsoft Copilot across the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS), starting with administrative staff and scaling organisation wide. This rollout will help reshape how CPS staff work, collaborate and deliver public services using AI-powered tools.
Using the most appropriate delivery methodologies, you’ll collaborate closely with IT Operations and key stakeholders to ensure delivery outcomes are achieved on time, within budget and to the highest quality whether through internal teams or supplier partnerships.
As a Senior Delivery Manager your main responsibilities will be to:
- Lead the delivery of digital programmes and projects aligned to CPS strategy.
- Take ownership of delivery workstreams, ensuring progress is tracked, blockers are removed, and outcomes are achieved.
- Coordinate virtual training and comms for Copilot rollout.
- Manage cross-functional teams and suppliers to deliver change initiatives.
- Champion Agile and Lean practices, tailoring delivery approaches to context.
- Engage stakeholders across CPS, HMCTS, MoJ, and other justice partners.
- Provide expert advice on feasibility and delivery planning.
- Work closely with key delivery leads, including colleagues in IT Operations and programme management.
- Ensure governance, assurance and post-implementation reviews are in place.
- Drive engagement and adoption by promoting Copilot training and digital capability across the organisation.
Essential:
- Proven experience in organisational wide programme/project delivery within digital or tech environments.
- IT background with experience in Microsoft 365 products (Copilot experience is a bonus).
- Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to manage complex dependencies, risks and supplier relationships.
- Skilled in Agile, Lean and traditional Waterfall-style delivery methodologies.
- Excellent communication, planning and organisational skills, with proven ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders effectively.
