Description & Requirements

On behalf of UKRI we are looking for a Test Analyst (Inside IR35) for a 6 month contract. Remote working with occasional travel to Swindon.

As a Test Analyst your main responsibilities will be to:


  • Analyse software requirements and specifications to create detailed test cases and test plans.
  • Develop test scripts for functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
  • Execute manual and automated tests on various software applications.
  • Record and track test results, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Identify, document, and report software defects, inconsistencies, and performance issues.
  • Prepare detailed test reports summarizing test results, defects, and coverage.



Essential:


  • Demonstratable experience of working in testing related roles.
  • Experience with a variety of different testing approaches (manual, automated etc.)
  • Experience of Test Planning and Design.
  • Jira experience.



Desirable:


  • Public Sector experience.
  • Experience of Performance and Accessibility Testing.
