AMS PSR

On behalf of UKRI we are looking for a Test Manager (Inside IR35) for a 5 month contract . Remote working with occasional travel to Swindon.

The role holder will own the Testing Strategy & Test Schedule for Funding Publication Services (FPS) and support the Project Manager in overseeing the technical assurance and integrity for FPS.

As a Test Manager your main responsibilities will be:

• Ownership for the overall integrity of the new FPS.
• Drafting the Test Strategy & Test Schedule for FPS and taking Test artefacts through UKRI approvals.
• Oversee and where necessary execute the Test Schedule for FPS, including:
  • Security Testing (working with external Pen Test provider).
  • Performance Testing (using internal tool set).
  • Accessibility testing (working with external Accessibility Test provider).
  • User Acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Liaise with internal DDAT SMEs including the UKRI Test Manager and UKRI Architects.
• Owning the technical assurance and integrity for FPS, including the data and integration components.
• Owning the Test Strategy & Test Schedule.
• Collaborative working with enterprise architect; business analysts; Digital user researchers and UI designers; delivery leads; data and digital engineers; and subject matter experts.
• Working with external Suppliers to execute Security & Accessibility Tests.
• Some hand-on testing activities such as Performance Testing.

Essential:

• Test Management experience.
• Hands on experience of overseeing and co-ordinating test plans and strategies.
• Ability to execute testing activities, in particular performance testing.
• Ability to work with both internal and external teams and suppliers.
• Experience with JMeter, BlazeMeter and Gatling.
• AWS experience.

Desirable:

• Public Sector experience.
• Experience with any of the following technologies: MuleSoft, Python, Zephyr Enterprise, SonarQube, BitBucket, Bamboo, Jira & Confluence.
