AMS PSR

On behalf of The Ministry of Justice we are looking for a Senior Digital Product Manager (Inside IR35) for a 6 month contract. Hybrid working with 2 days per week required in any MOJ office. 

The Ministry of Justice (MoJ) priorities include improving public safety and reducing reoffending by reforming prisons, probation and youth justice, and building a justice system which makes access to justice swifter and more certain for all citizens whatever their background. Project professionals in the MoJ help to improve the government’s ability to protect the public and reduce reoffending, and to provide a more effective, transparent and responsive criminal justice system for victims and the public.

As a Senior Digital Product Manager your main responsibilities will be to:

• Ensure a smooth transition and retention of critical knowledge from managed service team.
• Collaborate with programme leads, the team and policy to develop and define the product vision and strategy.
• Ensure Prepare For Someone Release delivers on its product outcomes and aligns, where relevant, with ARNs (Assessing Risks and Needs service).
• Develop and agree a roadmap.
• Manage Data and Management Information implementation and KPI reporting.
• Engage with key programme stakeholders, presenting updates and securing buy-in for initiatives.

Essential:

• Experience of developing a product strategy in a complex environment with uncertainty of the right way forward.
• Good stakeholder management skills at a senior level.
• Strong focus on outcomes and value.
• Experience of delivering products that have impact.
• Able to coach and mentor Product Managers.
