On behalf of the CPS we are looking for a Digital Project Delivery Manager (Inside IR35) for a 6 month contract. Remote working with occasional office travel.
The CPS prosecutes criminal cases that have been investigated by the police and other investigative organisations in England and Wales. The CPS is independent, and they make their decisions independently of the police and government.
Their duty is to make sure that the right person is prosecuted for the right offence, and to bring offenders to justice wherever possible.

As a Digital Project Delivery Manager you will work as part of a team responsible for driving the CPS digital transformation agenda. You will be accountable for directing the delivery of one or more digital applications or service by leading a plan of work across the team. You will build, maintain and motivate a team, ensuring there is an iterative plan to work towards the advancement of CPS Digital Capability. This includes management of risks, budgets and people.
You will use a range of methodologies to monitor and forecast your teams work as well as create a motivating environment for them to thrive throughout the delivery lifecycle.
You will need to independently interpret complex issues and use critical thinking and sound judgement to resolve a wide range of problems, removing obstacles and blockers that might get in the way of delivery.
You will ensure governance is adhered to at appropriate points in the project lifecycle, ensuring stakeholder relationships and senior support is in place.
Essential:
- Demonstratable Project Management and Delivery experience.
- Experience of managing or delivering the roll out of software solutions.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills and experience.
- Experience of interacting and communicating with end users.
Desirable:
- Public Sector experience.
- Jira experience.
- Experience in writing and creating Business Cases.
