On behalf of UKRI, we are looking for a Project Manager Inside IR35 for a 6 months contract based REMOTELY with occasional travel to Swindon

As a Project Manager , your main responsibilities will be to:
- Define and execute a clear consolidation delivery schedule, reducing tenant/service fragmentation while aligning stakeholders to a long-term target architecture.
- Deliver improved cross-organisation collaboration by implementing effective access models, shared directories, and integrated M365 (Teams/SharePoint) ways of working.
- Drive a consistent, user-centred experience by identifying pain points (e.g. tenant switching, internal UKRI Townhall Meetings etc.) and implementing practical design and usability improvements.
- Establish and enforce strong identity and access management, including governance frameworks, lifecycle processes, and role-based access controls.
- Implement centralised governance and security standards across tenants, ensuring compliance, risk reduction, and transparent oversight.
- Plan and manage a phased delivery approach, including interim trust solutions, application assessment, and partner engagement to enable successful consolidation
Essential:
- Experience working with Microsoft technologies, including end-user devices and networking.
- Experience in establishing robust governance structures, proactively managing risks (security, delivery, organisational), and ensure compliance
- Proven track record of delivering infrastructure-focused projects.
- Experience in defining the end-state vision, break it into achievable phases, and align stakeholders to a realistic delivery path.
