On behalf of UKRI, we are looking for a Technology Programme Manager (Inside IR35) for a contract until March 2027. This is a hybrid working role (travel to Swindon required on an as and when basis)

Job Purpose:
The Technology Programme Manager will coordinate activities across two high priority projects:
- Future Workspace Platforms, including the rollout of W11.
- UKRI Digital Enterprise Services.
As a Technology Programme Manager, your main responsibilities will be:
Future Workspace Platform: A transformation programme to modernise UKRI’s end-user computing and workplace technology environment, moving towards cloud-based services and streamlined device and application management.
Key Deliverables:
- Windows 11 rollout and OS upgrade
- Simplified end-user device (EUD) processes
- Review and optimisation of EUD, network, and collaboration tools
- Retirement of legacy systems
- Reduced network infrastructure footprint
UKRI Digital Enterprise Services: A strategic initiative to consolidate UKRI’s digital estate into a trusted tenancy environment, improving security, governance, and operational efficiency.
Key Deliverables:
- Working with the Cyber Security Program, introduce Unified identity and access management (IAM) and Centralised security, compliance, and monitoring capabilities
- Standardised access controls and data governance
- Consolidated systems and performance tracking
Essential:
- Experience of shaping and rolling out Technology infrastructure projects within a complex multi-organisation enterprise.
- Experience of coordinating work across multiple IT Teams, with differing priorities.
- Be able to demonstrate a track record of success, high profile project deliveries.
- Experience managing multiple hybrid teams comprising permanent staff, contractors and Suppliers.
- Experience procuring and managing several suppliers, Infrastructure consultancy services and tooling vendors.
- Experience working with senior leaders up to C-Suite to influence Security Awareness and help shape organisational Security culture change.
- Expert in project governance & assurance.
- Security Roadmaps.
- Exceptional stakeholder management & communications credentials are a must have.
