Description & Requirements

On behalf of UKRI, we are looking for a Senior Data Project Manager Inside IR35 for a 6 month contract based Hybrid Swindon

As a Senior Data Project Manager, your main responsibilities will be:


Essential:

  • Proven experience as a Delivery Manager on complex digital, data or transformation initiatives.
  • Strong track record of managing multiple workstreams and cross‑project dependencies.
  • Practical experience of Agile and iterative delivery in regulated or public sector environments.
  • Experience working within formal governance, assurance and reporting frameworks.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills across technical, business and senior leadership groups.

Desirable

  • Experience delivering data platforms, analytics or AI/automation initiatives.
  • Experience within UK central government or arm’s‑length bodies.
  • Familiarity with data governance, data quality, or ethical AI delivery concepts
