Description & Requirements


On behalf of UKRI, we are looking for a PMO Analyst (Inside IR35) for a 6 months contract based REMOTE with occasional travel in Swindon

As a PMO Analyst , your main responsibilities will be:


  • Up to date plans showing milestones, dependencies, and progress across all workstreams across all Security projects.
  • The production of clear, accurate reports (e.g. monthly highlight reports, RAG status) to support governance and decision making, ensuring adherence to the UKRI Development Framework and its stage gated process, including all mandatory documents.
  • To maintain logs with tracking, mitigation actions, and escalations to ensure effective programme control.
  • The preparation of materials for boards and governance forums, including project updates, decision papers, and audit-ready evidence.
  • Visibility of resource allocation, utilisation, and budget tracking to ensure alignment with programme plans and constraints.
  • The maintenance of key artefacts such as templates, change logs, action logs, and document repositories to ensure consistency and compliance.


Essential:

  • Ability to develop and maintain project plans, track milestones, dependencies, and deliverables across multiple workstreams.
  • Strong capability to analyse project data, produce dashboards, KPIs, and status reports to support decision making and governance.
  • Skill in identifying, assessing, and tracking risks and issues, ensuring timely escalation and mitigation.
  • PMO – Governance and RAID management, supporting the programme manager by reducing workload.
  • Demonstrated experience in PMO roles over an extended period, with clear evidence reflected in the CV.
