On behalf of UKRI, we are looking for a Data Delivery Manager (Inside IR35) for a 6 month contract based REMOTELY with some travel to Swindon.

As a Data Delivery Manager, your main responsibilities will be:
- Leading a delivery team to build a set of data models which will enable the decommissioning of the ‘Dimensions’ data software. Ensuring that the teams operate efficiently and delivers high quality technical and business focused products.
- Delivery to time cost and quality expectations.
- Ensuring teams have the tools, environments and Ways of Working needed to deliver.
- Collaborating with the Project Manager to manage delivery Risks, Issues and Dependencies in a timely manner.
- Reporting to the Project Manager on at-least weekly basis, escalating blockers and proposed solutions in a timely manner.
- Adopting a very hands-on approach so that several activities are progressed in a very structured, prioritised manner
Essential:
- Demonstrable experience working in data‑driven environments, including data modelling and data governance considerations.
- Proven delivery experience within project and programme management frameworks, operating in complex or regulated environments.
- Highly hands‑on, proactive self‑starter with the ability to drive progress independently and remove obstacles.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Strong capability to translate ideas into structured delivery plans, track progress, and manage delivery commitments.
- Solid understanding of data governance, including quality, assurance, and lifecycle management.
