Description & Requirements
On behalf of UKRI, we are looking for a Change Impacting Manager (Inside IR35) for a 9 month contract. This is a remote working role (flexibility required to travel to the office once per month - Swindon or London).
As a Change Impacting Manager, your main responsibilities will be to:
- Work closely with workstream leads and leaders to develop change approaches that support organisational goals and priorities and draw upon the right methodologies for the context
- Development of clear, meaningful, proportionate, compelling and high-quality materials which support the achievement of outcomes and drive adoption
- Contribute high quality compelling content for audiences through the right mix of channels, working collaboratively ensuring a high quality standard – both visually and written
- Develop, deliver and report on the progress and quality of change related elements including (but not limited) to Policy, People, Process, Readiness, Engagement, Confidence, Capability etc
Essential:
- Change related qualification and/or equivalent experience in the following areas: Internal communications and engagement, Training design and delivery or General management
- An in-depth understanding of change and the implications of taking individuals, teams and organisations on a change journey
- Management of engagement and communications activities including intranet work, development of visual materials and ability to facilitate sessions
- Demonstrable verbal and written communications skills and the ability to translate complex information into clear and accessible messages
- Strong organisational and project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines and stakeholders
Desirable:
- Familiarity with the public sector and/or grant giving organisations is desirable.
