On behalf of UKRI, we are looking for a Business Analyst Inside IR35 for a contract ending in March 2027 based REMOTELY with occasional travel to Swindon .

As a Business Analyst , your main responsibilities will be to:
- Conduct current-state (AS-IS) analysis, performing detailed assessments of existing IAM processes, systems (including Ideiio), and identifying key pain points across UKRI.
- Design and define future-state (TO-BE) processes, developing optimised workflows for identity governance, lifecycle management, and access control aligned with Zero Trust principles.
- Produce comprehensive requirements documentation, including prioritised functional and non-functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for the target IAM solution.
- Lead stakeholder and user needs analysis, consolidating business, security, and technical requirements across councils and diverse user groups.
- Develop data and role models, defining roles, access profiles, and identity data structures to enable effective role-based access control and governance.
- Contribute to business case development, providing supporting artefacts, including benefits analysis, process improvement insights, and impact assessments.
Essential:
- Experience in identity access management or security background
- Demonstrated ability to conduct detailed current-state (AS-IS) analysis of IAM processes and systems (including Ideiio), identify key pain points, and design and define future-state (TO-BE) solution
- Proven ability to manage and resolve stakeholder disputes effectively, ensuring alignment and maintaining productive working relationships.
