On behalf of UKRI, we are looking for a Senior Test Analyst (Inside IR35) for a 6 month contract based Remote.

UKRI is looking for an experienced Senior Test Analyst to join a multi‑disciplinary delivery team. You will influence quality at every stage of the project, working on requirements, analysis, design, testing and release of enterprise level software applications. This is a hands on senior role where you will own test strategy, build and maintain automation for functional and non-functional requirements, run performance testing, support UAT and ensure full traceability throughout the testing process.

You will produce clear test plans and reports, maintain regression packs and work closely with the Test Manager and Project Manager to meet all required test gates. This role plays a key part in supporting UKRI’s shift from manual and SharePoint‑based processes to a more streamlined application management platform.

As a Senior Test Analyst your main responsibilities will be to:

• Develop Test Plans, Scenarios and Scripts, ensuring they are reviewed and agreed with the UKRI Test Manager.
• Transform business scenarios into valid test cases with full requirements coverage and clear expected results.
• Create and maintain Automation for functional and non-functional requirements – creating new scripts and maintaining regression packs.
• Execute Test Plans, document results, log defects and perform root cause analysis to support quality improvement.
• Develop and review Test Plans and Reports in line with project and governance standards.
• Work closely with the Project Manager to ensure all required test gates are met for delivery.
• Execute Performance Testing and support business User Acceptance Test activities.
• Perform hands on testing of applications and infrastructure, ensuring 100% requirements coverage and traceability.

Essential:

• Senior test experience in Agile environments, with end-to-end testing across the full SDLC.
• Ability to design and own test strategy, scripts and requirements traceability.
• Automation experience across functional and non-functional testing including regression maintenance.
• Excellent defect management and root cause analysis skills.
• Experience with performance testing and UAT support.
• Proficiency with Jira and Confluence.

Desirable:

• Salesforce testing exposure including flows, integrations, APIs, UI/regression.
