Description & Requirements

On behalf of Network Rail, we are looking for an  Improvement Asset Manager  for an 8 months  contract based Hybrid 3 days a week in Stratford

As an Improvement Asset Manager your main responsibilities will be to: 


  • Actively manage and implement a portfolio of over 100 asset management improvement actions.
  • Track progress, resolve delivery issues, and ensure milestones are met.
  • Apply asset maturity models (e.g. ISO 55001) to assess current state and guide improvements.
  • Support the organisation’s journey toward higher asset management maturity levels.
  • Implement and monitor risk and compliance processes related to asset management.
  • Ensure frameworks are understood and adopted across relevant functions.
  • Troubleshoot delivery challenges and adapt plans as needed.


Essential: 

  • Proven experience in asset management and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • In-depth knowledge and practical application of ISO 55001 standards.
  • Demonstrated leadership or key involvement in major asset management improvement programmes.
