Description & Requirements
On behalf of CQC, we are looking for a Health & Safety Advisor (Inside IR35) for a 2-month contract based remotely, with a willingness to attend the office based in London if required.
As a Health & Safety Advisor, your main responsibilities will be:
- Provide professional advice and information on all aspects of health and safety
- To assist in the reporting and investigation of accidents and incidents and make subsequent recommendations
- Ensure that health and safety legislation and regulations are complied with by home workers by developing, communicating and auditing health and safety policies and procedures
- To participate in monitoring statutory compliance within NHSI policy by conducting health and safety inspections and desktop audits within the organisation
Essential:
- Relevant recognised qualification to the minimum standard of NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent with at least 2 years post qualification experience as a Health & Safety·
- Broad knowledge of Health and Safety activities over a wide range of disciplines including knowledge of UK legislation and enforcement system Practitioner
- Experience in VDU assessments
- You will also hold experience around disabilities and mental health
- You must also have access to a homework station (our client will provide equipment (laptop, monitor, mouse and keyboard)
