On behalf of The Department for Transport, we are looking for a Technical Customer Service Advisor (Inside IR35) for a 6 month contract based on site 5 days a week in Southampton.

As a Technical Customer Service Advisor, your main responsibilities will be:
- Providing first-line support to internal and external customers via phone, walk-ins, Microsoft Teams chat, and email using the agency’s IT Service Management (ITSM) tool.
- Resolving incidents, service requests, and problems within agreed target timeframes.
- Maintaining accurate ticket documentation and updating configuration records to a high standard.
- Creating and updating knowledge articles and sharing findings to support team learning.
- Communicating clearly and professionally during both routine requests and major incidents.
- Working closely with IT System Engineers for escalations and problem resolution.
Please be aware that this role can only be worked within the UK and not Overseas.
