On behalf of The Department for Transport-Maritime and Coastguard Agency, we are looking for a Employee Relations (Caseworker) Inside IR35 for a 6 month hybrid contract based Southampton.

As a Employee Relations (Caseworker), your main responsibilities will be:


  • To work in conjunction with the HR Employee Relations Casework Managers, and MCA managers to ensure that all casework and employee relation activities (including disciplinary, grievance, poor performance, attendance, and probation) are actioned in accordance with MCA and wider Civil Service policies and procedures, ensuring a timely conclusion to all cases.


  • Provide support for the HR Employee Relations Casework Managers including invoice processing, minute taking, and various administrative tasks as required, processing data in line with GDPR legislation.


  • To ensure adherence to government requirements, statutory legislation and agreed timescales. Providing coaching and support to managers as and when required.



Essential:


  • You will hold experience in Attendance Management


  • Stakeholder management experience required at all levels


  • General HR/ER knowledge


  • Hands on attitude and happy to work across both teams as and when required


Desirable:


  • CIPD qualified
