AMS PSR

On behalf of the MOD, we are looking for an IT Project Manager (Inside IR35) for a 12 Month contract based in Shrivenham (Fully Onsite).

SC Clearance is an essential requirement for this role, as a minimum you must be willing & eligible to undergo checks. Please note, due to the exceptional requirements of this position (short-term nature of this role and speed at which we require a postholder in situ) preference may be given to candidates who meet all of the essential criteria and hold active security clearance. 

As an IT Project Manager , your main responsibilities will be:

• Liaising with internal and external SME’s and organisations, including Defence Digital and Defence Commercial to ensure that the correct ICT solution for Defence Academy is delivered in a timely manner.
• Understand the administrative services that will not be delivered by Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO) when they provide the H&S FM across the site in Aug 28.
• Procure & deliver an Admin Services Contract that will fill the delta left by DIO from Aug 28 onwards.
• SRO/Project Exec/Prog Dir engagement
• Wider stakeholder engagement
• Deliver Project Boards, Working Groups etc as and when required

Essential:

• A recognised PM qualification (APMP, Prince2 etc).
• Feel comfortable in being able to lead and advise at 2* level on ICT matters
• Flexible enough to incorporate a non-IT aspect (admin services) of the requirements into the
• project.

Desirable:

• Previous defence experience
