On behalf of Network Rail, we are looking for a HRBP for a 3 month contract, hybrid based out of Blast Lane, Sheffield S4 7TA with the occasional travel to Leeds and York twice a month.

As a HRBP, your main responsibilities will be:
- Partner with business leaders to deliver the People Plan and drive a high‑performance culture.
- Build strong, trusted relationships with senior leaders; coach, advise and challenge on people issues.
- Provide hands‑on HR support across organisation change, senior hires, reward, and early‑career programmes.
- Deliver cost‑effective, integrated HR solutions aligned to business goals and secure stakeholder buy‑in
- Champion line‑manager ownership of people management and ER cases, reinforcing the HR delivery model.
- Collaborate with HR Centres of Expertise, HR Direct and Shared Services to deliver joined‑up solutions.
- Work effectively with Union representatives to support business outcomes.
- Collaborate with HRBPs across the organisation on cross‑functional or cross‑geography people matters.
Essential:
- Strong Employee Relations expertise with extensive case management experience
- Confident communicator – clear, professional written and verbal skills
- Skilled at building effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels
- Experienced in coaching, advising and constructively challenging managers
- Experienced in dealing with unions
- Strong influencing and negotiation capability
- Highly organised, with excellent prioritisation skills
Desirable:
- Project management experience
- CIPD qualified
