On behalf of Companies House, we are looking for a Senior Financial Accountant - (Inside IR35) for a 6-month contract based REMOTELY

As a Senior Financial Accountant - (Inside IR35), your main responsibilities will be:
- Completing some month end tasks for across CH and LFP company codes but overseeing the monthly completion of other month end completed by the Financial Accountants.
- Manage the timetable of monthly Financial Accounting tasks in these areas, ensuring Balance Sheet reconciliation and preparation of associated journals.
- Ensure Financial Accounting monthly Actuals are delivered in line with DBT monthly timetable.
- Performing monthly Balance Sheet review.
- The role prepares IFRS9 reports and working papers to support the Chief Technical Accountant in periodical bad debt calculations, for both Companies House late filing penalties and new powers and sanctions penalties.
- Supporting the Cash Management accountant in the preparation and submission of cash forecasting
Essential:
- Extensive Accountancy experience
- IFRS experience
- Experience of running a Month end
- Experience of reviewing balance sheets
- Experience of managing a small team
Desirable:
- Public Sector Experience
