On behalf of the The Infected Blood Compensation Authority (IBCA), we are looking for an SEO Events Producer - Inside IR35 for a 3 month contract based Hybrid (Remote with 2/3 days per month travelling to and attending Events) 


About Us:

The Infected Blood Compensation Authority (IBCA) is an independent arm’s-length body dedicated to supporting and compensating people affected by the infected blood tragedy. We are now hosting a series of drop-in sessions across the UK to engage with our diverse community.


The Role:

We are looking for two experienced Event Producers (HEO and SEO level) on a contract basis to help us plan and execute these drop-in sessions. These events will cater to a range of needs and must be delivered with sensitivity and attention to detail.


The main duties and responsibilities of the SEO Events Producer would be:

  • Event Planning & Logistics: Coordinate all logistical aspects of nationwide drop-in sessions, including venue booking, accessibility arrangements, and on-the-day logistics.
  • Briefings & Communication: Develop clear event briefings for all stakeholders, ensuring everyone is informed and aligned.
  • Community Engagement: Ensure events are designed to meet the diverse and complex needs of our community members.
  • Trauma-Informed Approach: Work with our Communications and Engagement team to ensure a trauma-informed and respectful atmosphere at all sessions.
  • Program Coordination: Create and manage event programs, ensuring sessions run smoothly and on time.


Essential:

  • Proven experience in event production, ideally in a public sector or community-focused environment.
  • Strong understanding of inclusive event practices.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple events simultaneously.
  • Compassionate and clear communicator, comfortable with briefing a wide range of stakeholders.
