AMS PSR

On behalf of The Home Office, we are looking for a X3 Commercial Managers (Inside IR35) for a 12 month, homebased contract with the occasional request to travel to London, Manchester or Liverpool, with travel expenses paid.

As a Commercial Manager, your main responsibilities will be:

• Lead and manage complex procurements in line with EU procurement law, Home Office and government policies
• Develop procurement strategies collaboratively with internal commercial teams and stakeholders
• Deliver cashable savings and other financial/non-financial benefits against targets
• Provide expert commercial advice across the Home Office, reflecting legislation, policy, and market intelligence

Essential:

• Recent experience delivering procurements under PCR 2015
• Experience in developing tender documentation
• Experience with e-sourcing portals
• Experience of delivering Public Sector procurements
• Recent experience of running Public Sector procurements
• Experience of using Government contracts
• Experience of creating tenders
• Experience of drafting schedules
• SC Clearance is an essential requirement for this role, as a minimum you must be willing & eligible to undergo checks. Please note, due to the exceptional requirements of this position (short-term nature of this role and speed at which we require a postholder in situ) preference may be given to candidates who meet all of the essential criteria and hold active security clearance.
