AMS PSR

On behalf of UKAEA (UK Atomic Energy Authority) we are looking for an IT Operations Manager  INSIDE IR35 for a 10 months contract based hybrid Oxford

SC Clearance is an essential requirement for this role, as a minimum you must be willing & eligible to undergo checks. Please note, due to the exceptional requirements of this position (short-term nature of this role and speed at which we require a postholder in situ) preference may be given to candidates who meet all of the essential criteria and hold active SC clearance.

As a IT Operations Manager, your main responsibilities will be:

Essential:

Experience and Skills

• Demonstrated experience within an IT Operations Management role
• Proficient in installing, configuring, and maintaining IT systems and equipment
• Strong understanding of networks, their operation, security, and cloud-based computing
• Knowledge of data protection operations and legislation (e.g. GDPR)
• Clear and concise communication skills
• Excellent leadership abilities
• Experience with ITIL and COBIT

Desirable

• A degree in Information Technology, Operations Management, Computer Science or related discipline
• Chartered IT Professional or similar
• Experience with Ivanti ITSM and Neurons
