On behalf of DVSA , we are looking for a Collaborative Tools Project Trainer Inside IR35 for a 9 months contract based REMOTELY with occasional travel to Nottingham, Bristol, Newcastle.
This role will be supporting DVSA to roll out the training required to support all colleagues to implement retention and sensitivity labels in their SharePoint.
The Collaborative Tools Trainer will work closely with teams across the Agency to understand their priorities and work pressures, schedule training at times that suit operational demands, and deliver that training through a range of formats (including in‑person sessions, Microsoft Teams sessions, recorded content, and written materials). They will explain the new records management policies, gather feedback, and use insights to improve training and guidance materials.
As a Collaborative Tools Project Trainer, your main responsibilities will be to:
- Deliver training training and any required follow‑up or “mop‑up” sessions.
- Deliver introductory sessions for each team to explain the policy changes, using the most appropriate method for them (e.g., in‑person, via Microsoft Teams, recorded content, written materials).
- Review and update training materials and guidance, ensuring they are current, accessible, and easy to understand across different formats.
- Train teams on how to apply retention and sensitivity labels, using a range of delivery methods (live sessions, demonstrations, written guides, videos, etc.).
- Provide ongoing support, such as follow‑up sessions, drop‑ins, lunch‑and‑learns, or additional written/recorded materials as needed.
Essential:
- Experience in creating and delivering training in SharePoint and MS tools
- Experience of using SharePoint, Teams and OneDrive
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Excellent communications skills
Desirable:
- Public sector experience
