On behalf of HM Treasury, we are looking for a Finance Assistant (Inside IR35/PAYE) for a 6 months contract based 60% in Norwich.

As a Financial Assistant, your main responsibilities will be:
- Support and liaise where required with relevant teams on established financial operations processes and controls.
- Assist in the preparation and processing of Purchase to Pay, Account Receivable, Account Payables and Payroll activities.
- creating supplier records, review of purchase orders, payroll data, plus creating payable and receivable invoices.
- Responding to internal and external inquiries regarding financial transactions. Providing timely and accurate recording of data and documentation of actions within an agreed timescale.
- Ensuring implementation and maintenance of financial policies and procedures are followed.
Essential:
- Financial operations experience within a purchase to pay function
- Active SC clearance or willing and eligible to undertake SC Clearance
- Public sector experience
Desirable:
- Payroll exposure
- Oracle Cloud experience
