On behalf of Homes England, we are looking for a Payroll Administrator (Inside IR35) for a remote contract that will run up until the end of December 2026.

As a Payroll Administrator, your main responsibilities will be:
- Process end-to-end monthly payroll and pension payroll activities.
- Maintain payroll accuracy through data validation and reconciliations.
- Administer payroll changes, deductions, statutory payments and benefits.
- Produce payroll reports, RTI submissions and BACS payment files.
- Ensure compliance with HMRC, pension and employment legislation.
- Resolve complex payroll queries and support continuous process improvements.
Essential:
- End-to-end payroll processing, from onboarding to RTI submission.
- Strong payroll, pensions and HMRC compliance knowledge.
- Proven payroll reconciliation and problem-solving skills.
- Accurate and detail-focused in high-volume environments.
- Confident managing statutory payments and deductions.
- Advanced Excel skills with excellent deadline management.
- Handle complex tax queries with discretion and confidentiality.
Desirable:
- CIPP-Ideally but would take experience over qualification
