AMS PSR

On behalf of Homes England, we are looking for a Assessment Support Manager (Inside IR35) for a contract which runs to the end of September 2026 possible extension and is a remote role.

Following the launch of the National Housing Delivery Fund (NHDF) an interim process has been introduced to allow projects to progress through assessments and approvals while work is being undertaken to include the criteria for NHDF in the Pipeline Assessment System. PAS support will monitor progress of projects through different stages and contact project managers where assessments are not being actively progressed. 

As an Assessment Support Manager, your main responsibilities will be:

• Work with the Pipeline Management & Approval Operations team to embed the new process inline with organisational guidance.
• Ensure project data collated correctly and logged, flagging any gaps or errors with the appropriate project manager.
• Monitor project progress with Approval Operations and ensure the correct process is followed in sequence.
• Engage with project managers where projects are not being actively progressed.
• Work with Pipeline Management and other internal teams including Economics to resolving issues / queries.
• Support project managers to complete Strategic Fit and Deliverability assessments.

Essential Skills

• Extensive experience working with excel assessment tools
• Experience in the implementation of a new process within a government department
• Stakeholder engagement at all levels
• Managing data related pieces of work within a busy department
• Strong self starter with a proactive approach to all duties
