On behalf of Homes England, we are looking for a Finance Manager Inside IR35 for a 3 months contract based Hybrid working (2/3 days per week in Newcastle, Liverpool, Bristol, Birmingham or London office and remaining WFH)

The main duties and responsibilities of the Finance Manager would be to:
- Manage databases of financial investments and monitor movements on a regular basis.
- Provide challenge to the business on investment carrying values.
- Review and provide technical advice on the accounting treatment of new programmes, investments and approvals.
- Undertaking work supporting critical accounting estimates for the Agency’s accounts, including development of complex financial models, identification and application of suitable inputs to these models.
- Ensure that Finance can gain assurance over data supporting the Agency’s accounts via the annual Data Assurance Statement process and wider year-end procedures.
- Production of monthly, quarterly and annual financial accounts, forecasts and budgets.
Essential:
- Recognised professional accountancy qualification, such as ACA, ACCA, CIPFA, CIMA.
- Member of professional accountancy body.
- Excellent Financial Management experience
- Excellent Reporting and accounting experience
- Excellent level of technical accountancy knowledge including IFRS & Tax (Specifically IFRS9)
- Significant experience of year-end accounts closure process.
- Advanced data interrogation and analytical skills.
- Advanced use of Excel spreadsheets.
