Description & Requirements


On behalf of Network Rail, we are looking for a Project Manager - Change for a 6 month contract based in either Milton Keynes, London or Manchester.

As a Project Manager Change, your main responsibilities will be to:


  • Manage the development and delivery of academy-related change activity to agreed scope, time, quality and budget requirements.
  • Work with sponsors, programme leads and stakeholders to agree remit, priorities, outcomes and success criteria for key workstreams.
  • Produce and maintain robust project documentation including plans, milestones, RAID logs, governance papers and progress reporting.
  • Coordinate delivery across internal teams, suppliers and stakeholders to ensure interdependencies are understood and managed.
  • Track progress, manage risks and issues, and escalate decisions or blockers in good time.
  • Support governance and decision-making forums with clear, accurate and timely updates.


Essential: 


  • Proven experience managing change projects or transformation activity in a complex environment.
  • Strong grounding in project management methods, tools and controls.
  • Experience working with senior sponsors, stakeholders and cross-functional delivery teams.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain grip on detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including reporting and governance materials.
  • Able to work independently, use sound judgement and keep delivery moving in ambiguous or evolving contexts.
