AMS PSR

On behalf of the Mining Remediation Authority, we are looking for a Surveyor (Inside IR35) for a 6 month hybrid contract based in Mansfield.

As a Surveyor, your main responsibilities will be to:

• Acquire land and property rights and/ or interests to support operational programmes.
• Undertake property and land inspections in accordance with the MRA’s health and safety procedures, policies and safe systems of work.
• Carry out property due diligence to support acquisitions, projects and operational requirements.
• Review sites and provide timely advice and recommendations to the Principal Property Manager.
• Engage and negotiate with landowners, occupiers, agents, local authorities and other stakeholders.
• Identify, assess and help manage property related risks, issues and opportunities.

Essential:

• Experience in property, land, surveying or a related discipline.
• Experience of undertaking site inspections and property related due diligence.
• The ability to identify and assess property related risks and opportunities.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• The ability to manage a varied workload and work independently.
• Hold a full UK driving licence and have willingness to travel regularly.
