On behalf of UKRI, we are looking for a Business Analyst (Inside IR35) for a 6 month contract based Manchester, Leeds, Blackpool or Newcastle (3 days per week on site).

As a Business Analyst, your main responsibilities will be:
- Working closely with stakeholders and business areas to understand objectives, identify business problems and define clear outcomes before solutions are explored.
- Capturing, analysing and documenting business and user requirements using appropriate techniques such as workshops, interviews, process mapping and stakeholder engagement sessions.
- Translating user needs into structured, delivery-ready requirements including user stories, functional and non-functional requirements, and acceptance criteria.
- Acting as a key interface between stakeholders and delivery teams, supporting discussions around solution options and ensuring a shared understanding of requirements throughout delivery.
- Managing requirements throughout the project lifecycle, including maintaining traceability, assessing impacts of change requests and supporting prioritisation activities.
- Supporting testing and quality assurance activities, including creation or validation of test scenarios, supporting user acceptance testing and confirming delivered solutions meet agreed requirements and quality standards.
Essential:
- Strong experience as a Business Analyst
- Some experience with portfolio management
- Excellent stakeholder management
