Description & Requirements

On behalf of DHSC , we are looking for a Strategy & Transformation Manager  Inside IR35  for a contract ending 31st of March 2027 based Hybrid 3 days a week in either London or Leeds  


This is a high-profile opportunity to contribute to one of the government’s most significant reform programmes.

These roles sit at the heart of delivery within the DHSC–NHSE Joint Transformation Programme, providing analytical, coordination and management capability across organisational design and PMO and Finance activity


As a Strategy & Transformation Manager,  your main responsibilities will be to:


  • Lead or supports organisational change and transformation initiatives.
  • Work across multiple teams to resolve complex business challenges.
  • Identify issues, assesses options, and develops recommendations.
  • Coordinate stakeholders where ownership is unclear.
  • Drive implementation of change rather than simply providing advice.
  • Manage risks, dependencies, actions, and governance.
  • Support senior leaders with decision-making and delivery.


Essential:


  • Demonstrable experience delivering change, transformation, policy and organisational redesign programmes within the public sector ( DHSC or NHS)
  • Proven ability to engage and influence a wide range of stakeholders across complex organisational environments.
  • Experience in governance, reporting, risk and issue management, ensuring effective programme delivery
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in ambiguous and evolving environments
